As the winter solstice approaches this week, we are reminded that midwinter has finally come and longer days are near. To many this means a chance to travel and refresh with the New Year. To those who visit, this means finding a love for the Wyoming Wintertime.

Here are just a few reasons why Wyoming Winters are our favorite:

Spectacular, quiet sunrises with the Rockies

Each of the Mountain View’s 6 guest suites provides a warm welcome to the day and a chance to wake up with the sun almost year-round. With over 200 sunny days a year, nothing beats our beautiful early morning sunrises that lead into warm blue-bird afternoons.

Over 25 Feet of Annual Snowfall Each Year

In addition to a lot of sun, our Snowy Range Mountains get a substantial amount of snowfall every winter ranging from 25 feet on top of the range to 100”…

Le métro

life, metro, paris, city, transit, tips

If there’s one thing you learn to use (and to hate) very fast when moving to Paris, it’s the famous métro. “Métro, boulot, dodo” (a French expression describing the Parisian lifestyle, that translates to “metro, work, sleep”) becomes very real, and it also becomes very obvious that it is the reality of millions of other grumpy Parisians as well.

Paris has a pretty extensive metro network, and when you first lay your eyes on the map, it can look a bit scary. How is anyone supposed to find their way in that labyrinth? Day trip from Rome to Pompeii with museum + other cultural tips

UnfoldedMaps's avatarUnfolded Maps

When in Rome Pompeii is an easy, if long day trip.  Early one morning we met up with City Wonders for a bus ride down to the ruins of Pompeii.  The bus had a guide who pointed out points of interest along the way like the ancient Abbey of Montecassino and the Appian Way – the ancient main road from Rome to all other points in the empire.  Three hours and 1 rest stop  later we arrived in the ancient city of Pompeii.

Note: My sister had her iPhone stolen from her while on the subway to meet up with the tour group.  If you choose to ride the Roman subway system be wary – thieves take advantage of the extremely crowded conditions to press up against victims and search any pocket and bag they can get a hand into.  A few days after this incident I had 60 lira stolen…

STILTS CALATAGAN BEACH RESORT

For me I recommend to have a service. Since we don’t have a car so let’s do the DIY day tour 🙂

We meet in JAM bus terminal at 300H because when I checked online there’s a daily trip going to Calatagan Batangas but when we arrived unfortunately no trip going to calatagan so instead of transferring to other terminal we choose to ride na going to lemery then from Lemery around 700H we ride a van going to Calatagan and the van driver offered us a ride directly to ” stilts “which is 250 each instead of around 70 pesos but up to calatagan proper only so instead of transfer and transfer we agreed to 250 even though we know that it’s to much for Budget tour ! Hahaha

Yeah finally …..

900H…
